What a lovely practice this is

The girls on reception help make coming to the Dentist a great experience they are both chatty and always very welcoming to me and my wife. The Dentist was also very kind and explained all our treatment options clearly. We then saw the hygienist last week and she is also brilliant, was very chatty which put me at ease during my clean. What a lovely practice this is.

After leaving a dentist who neglected issues I had, I am so happy to have found a dentist who is such a credit to her profession. The reception staff are really helpful too. My dentist and her dental nurse provided excellent care and made me feel so at ease. I highly recommend this practice. They also made the dentist experience an easy one for my daughter. Although teeth whitening is a private cosmetic treatment and not covered by NHS funding, we understand that many of our patients also receive standard dental care through the NHS.

If you’re visiting our practice in Culliford Crescent, Poole (BH17), and want to combine whitening with your regular check-up or hygiene visit, our team will happily advise you on what’s available through NHS dentistry.

Please note:

  • The NHS only funds treatments considered clinically necessary

  • Cosmetic procedures such as whitening are not eligible for NHS support

  • You will only be charged once for each course of NHS treatment (if eligible)

This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future
problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.

If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.

Band 2

This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Band 3

This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.
