What a lovely practice this is

The girls on reception help make coming to the Dentist a great experience they are both chatty and always very welcoming to me and my wife. The Dentist was also very kind and explained all our treatment options clearly. We then saw the hygienist last week and she is also brilliant, was very chatty which put me at ease during my clean. After leaving a dentist who neglected issues I had, I am so happy to have found a dentist who is such a credit to her profession. The reception staff are really helpful too. While Invisalign is a private cosmetic treatment and not available through the NHS, we believe it’s important to be open about all treatment options – including how NHS dental charges work for general care.

If you’re visiting us for a full dental health check or considering additional restorative work alongside your bonding treatment, some services may be provided under NHS funding if you’re eligible.

Here’s what to keep in mind:

  • NHS dental care is structured into three bands, depending on the type of treatment required

  • If your treatment qualifies for NHS support, you’ll only pay one set fee per course of treatment, regardless of the number of visits

  • Our team will always explain what’s included, so there are no hidden surprises

  • If you are exempt from NHS charges, we will guide you through that process

Although cosmetic procedures like composite bonding are not covered, our practice offers flexible payment plans to make private treatment more accessible.

Band 1

£27.90

This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future
problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.

If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.

Band 2

£76.60

This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Band 3

£332.10

This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.

Although Invisalign is a private cosmetic treatment, some of our patients in Poole BH17 and surrounding areas may also be entitled to free or discounted NHS dental care for other dental needs.

If you think you may qualify for help with NHS treatment costs – for example, check-ups, fillings or extractions – you might be eligible for full or partial support based on your circumstances.
