What a lovely practice this is

The girls on reception help make coming to the Dentist a great experience they are both chatty and always very welcoming to me and my wife. The Dentist was also very kind and explained all our treatment options clearly. We then saw the hygienist last week and she is also brilliant, was very chatty which put me at ease during my clean. What a lovely practice this is.

After leaving a dentist who neglected issues I had, I am so happy to have found a dentist who is such a credit to her profession. The reception staff are really helpful too. My dentist and her dental nurse provided excellent care and made me feel so at ease. I highly recommend this practice. They also made the dentist experience an easy one for my daughter. Although dental implants are private treatments and not funded by the NHS, many of our patients at Dental Poole also receive regular NHS dental care such as check-ups, hygiene visits, or restorative treatment. We’re happy to advise you on how NHS and private services can complement one another.

If you’re registered at our practice on Culliford Crescent, Poole (BH17), we’ll clearly explain what’s covered by NHS fees — and when private treatment such as implants may be the most suitable option.

Important to know:

  • NHS only funds treatments considered clinically necessary

  • Implants are not available on the NHS unless in rare cases (e.g. major trauma or congenital conditions)

  • You’ll only pay once for each course of NHS treatment (if eligible)

  • Our team offers full transparency on fees and treatment options

This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future
problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.

If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment needs more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one Band 1 charge.

Band 2

£76.60

This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Band 3

£332.10

This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.
