Dental Implants in Poole
Restore your smile for life – securely and naturally.
If you’ve lost a tooth (or several), dental implants offer a permanent, natural-looking solution that restores both your smile and your confidence. At Dental Poole, we provide expertly placed dental implants in Poole using advanced materials and techniques to mimic the function and appearance of real teeth.
What are Dental Implants?
Dental implants are small titanium posts that act as artificial tooth roots, securely placed into the jawbone to support replacement teeth. Once healed, they provide a stable base for crowns, bridges or dentures — restoring the function and aesthetics of your smile.
At Dental Poole, we use advanced implant systems for reliable, long-lasting results. Each implant is custom-matched to your natural teeth, ensuring a comfortable fit and seamless appearance.
Who Can Benefit from Dental Implants?
Ideal for restoring your confidence and bite.
Dental implants are suitable for most adults who have:
-
One or more missing teeth
-
Loose or uncomfortable dentures
-
Good oral and general health
-
Sufficient bone density to support an implant
They’re a popular choice for patients in Poole, Canford Heath, Broadstone and nearby BH17 areas looking for a fixed, natural-feeling alternative to removable dentures or bridges.
How Does the Dental Implant Process Work?
A precise, step-by-step journey to your new smile.
-
Consultation & 3D Scan – We assess your mouth and bone structure using digital imaging.
-
Treatment Planning – Your personalised plan is created based on your goals and anatomy.
-
Implant Placement – The titanium post is gently inserted under local anaesthetic.
-
Healing Phase – Over several months, the implant fuses naturally with the bone.
-
Final Restoration – A custom-made crown or bridge is securely fitted, blending perfectly with your natural teeth.
All procedures are carried out at our Culliford Crescent clinic, using modern technology to ensure safety and precision.

>Are Dental Implants Right for You?
A great solution for most, but professional assessment is key.
Dental implants are ideal for most adults with healthy gums and good bone structure. However, they may not be suitable for:
-
Heavy smokers
-
Those with uncontrolled diabetes
-
Patients with insufficient bone (bone grafting may be an option)
During your consultation at Dental Poole, we’ll take a detailed look at your oral health and discuss the best route forward.
NHS Dental Charges (Effective from April 2024)
Although dental implants are private treatments and not funded by the NHS, many of our patients at Dental Poole also receive regular NHS dental care such as check-ups, hygiene visits, or restorative treatment. We’re happy to advise you on how NHS and private services can complement one another.
If you’re registered at our practice on Culliford Crescent, Poole (BH17), we’ll clearly explain what’s covered by NHS fees — and when private treatment such as implants may be the most suitable option.
Important to know:
-
NHS only funds treatments considered clinically necessary
-
Implants are not available on the NHS unless in rare cases (e.g. major trauma or congenital conditions)
-
You’ll only pay once for each course of NHS treatment (if eligible)
-
Our team offers full transparency on fees and treatment options
We’re here to help you make informed choices. If you have any questions about combining private and NHS care, just speak to our team.
